Hello, I am Mateo Velez-Jaimes, a motivated Finance student, with a minor in Professional Selling, at the University of Central Florida. I have a passion for sales analytics, and team success. Learning about these industries has allowed me to develop my skills to contribute to new challenges.

Why Sales?
My “why” comes from seeing sales as the bridge between people and solutions. I’m drawn to the challenge of understanding needs, creating value, and building lasting relationships. At the same time, sales pushes me out of my comfort zone and helps me grow, blending strategy, communication, and creativity in a way that motivates me. Through this program, I’m building the skills to connect with people, solve problems, and make a meaningful impact.
One of only about 120 specialized undergraduate sales programs in the nation, this selective one-year UCF track admits just 35 students annually. Through advanced coursework, mentorship, and hands-on training, students gain advanced sales skills and industry experience, preparing them to excel in diverse sales fields.
